Some words of Kalima

Kalimaye Tawheed or Kalimaye Tayiba

لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَّسُوْلُ اللهِ.

There is no god but Allah. Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam is the Messenger of Allah.

Kalimaye shahadah

 

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَّا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهٗ وَرَسُوْلُهٗ.

 I bear witness that there is no god but Allah. I further bear witness that Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam is the servant and messenger of Allah.

 

Another Kalimaye Shahdah

أأَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَّا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا الله، وَحْدَهٗ  لَا شَريْكَ لَهٗ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهٗ   وَرَسُوْلُهٗ.

I bear witness that there is no god but Allah. He is single; He has no partners. I further bear witness that Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam is the servant and messenger of Allah.

                                        

Another Kalimaye Shahdah

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَّا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا خَاتَمُ أَنْبِيَائِهٖ  وَرُسُلِهٖ.

 I bear witness that there is no god but Allah. I further bear witness that Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam is the last prophet and messenger of Allah.

 

Some Sentences of Islamic creed

Imane Mujmal (Declaration of Faith in Brief)

 

1.

رَبُّنَا اللهُ

 Our Lord is Allah.

 

2.

امَنْتُ بِاللهِ

I believe in Allah.

 

3.

امَنْتُ بِاللهِ وَبِرُسُلِهٖ.

I believe in Allah and all His Messengers.

 

4.

آمَنْتُ بِاللهِ وَكَفَرْتُ بالطَّاغُوتِ

 I have believed in Allah and rejected all false gods and claimants.

 

5.

رَبِّيَ اللهُ وَدِيْنِيَ الإِسْلامُ وَنَبِيِّيْ مُحَمَّدٌ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.

 My Lord is Allah. My religion is Islam. My Prophet is Muhammad may peace be upon him.

 

6.

رَبَّنَاۤ اٰمَنَّا فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشّٰهِدِیْنَ.

 O our Lord! We believe. So write down our names with the witnesses.

7.

امَنْتُ بِاللهِ كَمَا هُوَ بِأَسْمَائِهٖ وَصِفَاتِهٖ, وَقَبِلْتُ جَمِيْعَ أَحْكَامِهٖ.

 I believe in Allah, with all His Names and Attributes. and have accepted all his instructions.

 

8.

آمَنْتُ بِاللهِ وَبِرَسُوْلِهٖ مُحَمَّدٍ رَحْمَةٍ لِّلْعَالَمِيْنَ وَسَيِّدِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ .

I believe in Allah and His Messenger Muhammad ﷺ. He is a mercy to all the worlds and the leader of the messengers.

 

9.

امَنْتُ بِاللهِ وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ رَسُوْلِ اللهِ خَاتَمِ النَّبِيِّيْنَ, هُوَ اخِرُ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ لَنَبِيَّ بَعْدَهٗ .

I believe in Allah and I believe in Muhammad ﷺ; He is the Messenger of Allah and Khatamun Nabiyeen. He is the last prophet; there is no prophet after him.

 

10.

اَللّٰهُمَّ رَبَّ هَذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ، وَالصَّلاَةِ القَائِمَةِ، آتِ مُحَمَّدَنِ الْوَسِيْلَةَ وَالْفَضِيْلَةَ، وَابْعَثْهُ مَقَامًا مَّحْمُوْدَنِ الَّذِيْ وَعَدْ تَّهٗ.

I believe in what was revealed to Muhammad (peace be upon him) and what he brought from Allah Ta'ala. That is, Quran,  Sunnah, and Shariah. I accept all of them.

 

Two sentences for declaring Islam

1.

أَسْلَمْتُ لِرَبِّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَ.

I submit myself to the Lord of all the worlds.

2.

اِنَّ صَلَاتِیْ وَ نُسُكِیْ وَمَحْیَایَ وَ مَمَاتِیْ لِلهِ رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَ، لَا شَرِیْكَ لَهٗ وَ بِذٰلِكَ اُمِرْتُ وَ اَنَا  أَوَّلُ الْمُسْلِمِیْنَ.

My prayer, my offering, my life and my death are for Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. For him, there is no partner. And thus I have been commanded, and I am the first one to submit

A sentence for declaring Tawhid

اِنِّیْ وَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِيَ لِلَّذِيْ فَطَرَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الْاَرْضَ حَنِيْفًا وَّ مَاۤ اَنَا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِيْنَ .

I have, indeed, turned my face straight towards the One who created the heavens and the earth, and I am not one of those who associate partners with Allah.

 

Some words of zikr and dua

1.

لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ.

There is no god but Allah.

2.

سُبْحَانَ اللهِ, وَالْحَمْدُ لِلهِ, وَلَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ, وَالْحَمْدُ لِلهِ.

Allah is holy. All praise is due to Allah. There is no god but Allah. Allah is the greatest.

3.

لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ, وَحْدَهٗ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهٗ, لَهُ الْمُلْكُ, وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ, وَهُوَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ.

None has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, Who has no partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise and He is Able to do all things.

 

4.

لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ.

 Salvation (from sin) and power (of good deeds) is in the hands of Allah alone.

 

5.

حَسْبُنَا اللهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيْلُ.

Allah is fully sufficient for us and the best one in whom we trust.

 

6.

لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّيْ كُنْتُ مِنَ َّؓالِمِيْنَ.

 There is no god but you. Pure are You. Surely I am one of the wrongdoers.

 

7.

رَضِيْتُ بِاللهِ رَبًًا, وَبِالْإِسْسلَامِ دِيْنًا, وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَبِيًا.

I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, Islam as my religion and Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam as my Prophet.

           

The Call to Prayer

اَللهُ أَكْبَرُ اَللهُ أَكْبَرُ

اَللهُ أَكْبَرُ اَللهُ أَكْبَر

 Allah is the greatest. Allah is the greatest.

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَّا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَّا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ

I bear witness that there is no god but Allah.

أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَّسُوْلُ اللهِ

أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَّسُوْلُ اللهِ

I bear witness that Muhammad ﷺ is the Messenger of Allah.

حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ

حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ

Come towards prayer.

حَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلَاحِ

حَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلَاحِ

Come to success.

اَللهُ أَكْبَرُ اَللهُ أَكْبَرُ

Allah is the greatest. Allah is the greatest.

لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ

There is no god but Allah.

In the adhan of Fajr, it is said -

 الصَّلَاةِ خَيْرٌ مِّنَ النَّوْمِ

 الصَّلَاةِ خَيْرٌ مِّنَ النَّوْمِ

Prayer is better than sleep.

Dua After Adhan

اَللّٰهُمَّ رَبَّ هَذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ، وَالصَّلاَةِ القَائِمَةِ، آتِ مُحَمَّدَنِ الْوَسِيْلَةَ وَالْفَضِيْلَةَ، وَابْعَثْهُ مَقَامًا مَّحْمُوْدَنِ الَّذِيْ وَعَدْ تَّهٗ.

O Allah, the Lord of this complete invitation and established prayer! Bestow upon Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam `wasila` and dignity and raise him to the honored position You have promised him.

 

Some Dhikr of Salah

1. Takbir of Tahrima

اَللهُ أَكْبَرُ

Allah is the greatest.

2. Thana

سُبْحَانَكَ اللّٰهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ، وَتَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ، وَتَعَالٰى  جَدُّكَ، وَلَا إِلٰهَ غَيْرُكَ.

 O Allah! Describing Your holiness, with Your praise. Blessed is your name. Your status is high. There is no god but You.

3. Tasbih of Ruku

سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْعَظِيْمِ

 My great Lord is Ever Holy.

 Time to get up from Ruku

سَمِعَ اللهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهٗ

Allah hears the praises of those who praise Him.

5. Standing straight from bowing

رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ

 O our Lord! All praise to you.

6. Tasbih of Sijdah

سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلٰى

 My Supreme Lord is Ever Holy.

7. Tashahhud or Attahiyat

التَّحِيَّاتُ لِلهِ وَالصَّلَوَاتُ وَالطَّيِّبَاتُ

Meaning: Adab and tazeem and all expressions of devotion and respect are for Allah and (for Allah) all worship and all charity.

السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهٗ.

O Prophet! Peace and blessings be upon you and mercy and blessings from Allah.

السَّلَامُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلٰى عِبَادِ اللهِ الصَّالِحِيْنَ.

May peace and blessings be upon us and the righteous servants of Allah.

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَّا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ, وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهٗ وَرَسُوْلُهٗ.

I bear witness that there is no god but Allah. I further bear witness that Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is the servant and messenger of Allah.

8. Durud Sharif

اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلٰى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ.

O Allah! Shower your mercy on Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam and the family of Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam.

كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلٰى إِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَعَلٰى إِبْرَاهِيْمَ.

As you showered mercy on Ibrahim alaihis salam and the family of Ibrahim alaihis salam.

إِنَّكَ حَمِيْدٌ مَّجِيْدٌ

Undoubtedly, you are praiseworthy, and most glorious.

اَللّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلٰى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

O Allah! Bless Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam and the family of Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam.

كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلٰى إِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَعَلٰى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ

As you blessed Ibrahim alaihis salam and on the family of Ibrahim alaihis salam.

إِنَّكَ حَمِيْدٌ مَّجِيْدٌ

Undoubtedly, you are praiseworthy, and most glorious.

 

9.  A ma’thur dua

 

اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِيْ ظُلْمًا كَثِيْرًا

O Allah! I have greatly wronged myself.

وَلَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوْبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

No one can forgive sins except you.

فَاغْفِرْ لِيْ مَغْفِرَةً مِّنْ عِنْدِكَ وَارْحَمْنِيْ

So, grant me forgiveness from you and have mercy on me.

إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْغَفُوْرُ الرَّحِيْمُ.

Undoubtedly, You are the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful.

 

10. Salam

السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ

 Peace and mercy of Allah be upon you.

 

11. Dua Qunut

اَللّٰهُمَّ إنَّا نَسْتَعِيْنُكَ وَنَسْتَغْفِرُكَ

O Allah! We beg help from you and ask forgiveness from you.

وَنُؤْمِنُ بِكَ وَنَتَوَكَّلُ عَلَيْكَ

We believe in you and trust in you.

وَنُثْنِيْ عَلَيْكَ الْخَيْرَ

We praise you.

وَنَشْكُرُكَ وَلَاَ نَكْفُرُكَ

We thank you and do not disbelieve in you.

وَنَخْلَعُ وَنَتْرُكُ مَنْ يَّفْجُرُكَ

And we abandon and reject him who disobeys you.

اَللّٰهُمَّ يَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ, وَلَكَ نُصَلِّيْ وَنَسْجُدُ

O Allah! We worship you. To You we pray and to You we prostrate.

وَإِلَيْكَ نَسْعيٰ وَنَحْفِدُ

To you we turn and run.

وَنَرْجُوْ رَحْمَتَكَ وَنَخْشىٰ عَذَابَكَ

We hope for Your mercy and fear Your punishment.

إنَّ عَذَابَكَ بِالْكُفَّارِ مُلْحِقٌ.

Undoubtedly, your punishment is destined for the disbelievers.

 

12. After Finishing Salah

اَللّٰهُمَّ أَنْتَ السَّلَامُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلَامُ, تَبَارَكْتَ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ.

O Allah! You are as-Salam. From you is all peace. O possessor of majesty and honor! Blessed You are.
