This is the blessed land! It is incumbent on every Muslim to protect it

Allah ta'ala said in the Holy Quran:

سُبْحٰنَ الَّذِيْۤ اَسْرٰي بِعَبْدِهٖ لَيْلًا مِّنَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ اِلَي الْمَسْجِدِ الْاَقْصَا الَّذِيْ بٰرَكْنَا حَوْلَهٗ لِنُرِيَهٗ مِنْ اٰيٰتِنَا اِنَّهٗ هُوَ السَّمِيْعُ الْبَصِيْرُ.

"Glorious is he who made his servant travel by night from Al-Masjid-ul-Haram to Al-Masjid-ul-Aqsa whose environs We have blessed, so that We let him see some of Our signs. Surely, He is the All-Hearing, the All- Seeing."-Surah Bani Israel (17): 01

They are oppressed: Resistance is their right given by Allah

Allah ta'ala said in the holy Quran:

اُذِنَ لِلَّذِيْنَ يُقٰتَلُوْنَ بِاَنَّهُمْ ظُلِمُوْ، وَ اِنَّ اللهَ عَلٰي نَصْرِهِمْ لَقَدِيْرُ، ِالَّذِيْنَ اُخْرِجُوْا مِنْ دِيَارِهِمْ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ اِلَّاۤ اَنْ يَّقُوْلُوْا رَبُّنَا اللهُ...

"Permission (to fight) is given to those against whom fighting is launched, because they have been wronged, and Allah is powerful to give them victory.

They are) the ones who were expelled from their homes without any just reason, except that they say 'Our Lord is Allah.'"-Surah Hajj (22): 39-40

Their crime is that they are believers! Allah is witness over everything!

Allah ta'ala said in the holy Quran:

وَ مَا نَقَمُوْا مِنْهُمْ اِلَّاۤ اَنْ يُّؤْمِنُوْا بِاللهِ الْعَزِيْزِ الْحَمِيْدِ، الَّذِيْ لَهٗ مُلْكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الْاَرْضِ وَ اللهُ عَلٰي كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيْدٌ.

"They punished them for nothing but that they believed in Allah, the All-Mighty, the Worthy of All Praise, The One to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth. And Allah is witness over everything."-Surah Buruj (85): 8-9

These are the rows of dead bodies of wounded Muslim children. Still you will not be awake!

وَ مَا لَكُمْ لَا تُقَاتِلُوْنَ فِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللهِ وَ الْمُسْتَضْعَفِيْنَ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ وَ النِّسَآءِ وَ الْوِلْدَانِ الَّذِيْنَ يَقُوْلُوْنَ رَبَّنَاۤ اَخْرِجْنَا مِنْ هٰذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ الظَّالِمِ اَهْلُهَا وَ اجْعَلْ لَّنَا مِنْ لَّدُنْكَ وَلِيًّا وَّ اجْعَلْ لَّنَا مِنْ لَّدُنْكَ نَصِيْرًا.

"What has happened to you that you do not fight in the way of Allah, and for the oppressed among men, women and children who say, 'Our Lord, take us out from this town whose people are cruel, and make for us a supporter from Your own, and make for us a helper from Your own.”-Surah Nisa (04): 75

Muslims should be like this!

The Messenger of Allah-Peace be upon him- said:

مَثَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فِي تَوَادِّهِمْ، وَتَرَاحُمِهِمْ، وَتَعَاطُفِهِمْ مَثَلُ الْجَسَدِ إِذَا اشْتَكَى مِنْهُ عُضْوٌ تَدَاعَى لَه سَائِرُ الْجَسَدِ بِالسَّهَرِ وَالْحُمَّى.

"The similitude of believers in regard to mutual love, affection, fellow-feeling is that of one body; when any limb of it aches, the whole body aches, because of sleeplessness and fever." -Sahih Muslim, Hadith:2586

Can Muslims leave their oppressed brothers in the hands of the enemies?

The Messenger of Allah-Peace be upon him- said:

المُسْلِمُ أَخُو المُسْلِمِ لاَ يَظْلِمُه وَلاَ يُسْلِمُه.

"A Muslim is a brother of another Muslim, so he should not oppress him, nor should he hand him over to an oppressor." Sahih Bukhari,Hadith:2442

All Muslims should resist together

The Messenger of Allah-Peace be upon him- said:

الْمُؤْمِنُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِ كَالْبُنْيَانِ يَشُدُّ بَعْضُه بَعْضًا.

"A believer is like a brick for another believer, the one supporting the other." Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 2585

Be supporters of the religion of Allah

Allah ta'ala said in the holy Quran:

يٰۤاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا كُوْنُوْۤا اَنْصَارَ اللهِ كَمَا قَالَ عِيْسَي ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ لِلْحَوَارِيّٖنَ مَنْ اَنْصَارِيْۤ اِلَي اللهِ قَالَ الْحَوَارِيُّوْنَ نَحْنُ اَنْصَارُ اللهِ فَاٰمَنَتْ طَّآىِٕفَةٌ مِّنْۢ بَنِيْۤ اِسْرَآءِيْلَ وَ كَفَرَتْ طَّآىِٕفَةٌ فَاَيَّدْنَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا عَلٰي عَدُوِّهِمْ فَاَصْبَحُوْا ظٰهِرِيْنَ.

"O you who believe, be supporters of (the religion of) Allah, just as ‘Isa, son of Maryam, said to the Disciples, “Who are my supporters towards Allah?” The Disciples said, “We are the supporters of (the religion of) Allah.” So a group from the children of Isra’il believed, and another group disbelieved. Then We supported those who believed against their enemy, and they became victors." Surah Saaf (61):14

By assisting the Mujahideen, we can also be participants in Jihad

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said:

مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَقَدْ غَزَا، وَمَنْ خَلَفَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِخَيْرٍ فَقَدْ غَزَا.

"He who prepares a Ghazi going in Allah's Cause is given a reward equal to that of a Ghazi; and he who looks after properly the dependents of a Ghazi going in Allah's Cause is given a reward equal to that of Ghazi."-Sahih Bukhari, Hadith 2843

O believer!  Make your business profitable

Allah ta'ala said in the holy Quran:

يٰۤاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا هَلْ اَدُلُّكُمْ عَلٰي تِجَارَةٍ تُنْجِيْكُمْ مِّنْ عَذَابٍ اَلِيْمٍ، تُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِاللهِ وَ رَسُوْلِهٖ وَ تُجَاهِدُوْنَ فِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللهِ بِاَمْوَالِكُمْ وَ اَنْفُسِكُمْ ذٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُوْنَ، يَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوْبَكُمْ وَ يُدْخِلْكُمْ جَنّٰتٍ تَجْرِيْ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهٰرُ وَ مَسٰكِنَ طَيِّبَةً فِيْ جَنّٰتِ عَدْنٍ ذٰلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيْمُ، وَ اُخْرٰي تُحِبُّوْنَهَا نَصْرٌ مِّنَ اللهِ وَ فَتْحٌ قَرِيْبٌ وَ بَشِّرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ.

"O you who believe, shall I tell you about a trade that saves you from a painful punishment? That you believe in Allah and His Messenger, and carry out Jihad in His way with your riches and your lives. That is much better for you, if you but know. If you do this,) He will forgive your sins, and will admit you to gardens beneath which rivers flow, and to pleasant dwellings in gardens of eternity. That is the great achievement. And (He will give you) another thing, which you love: Help from Allah, and victory, near at hand." Surah Saff:10-13

O believer! You made a deal with Allah for life and wealth

Allah ta'ala said in the holy Quran:

اِنَّ اللهَ اشْتَرٰي مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ اَنْفُسَهُمْ وَ اَمْوَالَهُمْ بِاَنَّ لَهُمُ الْجَنَّةَ يُقَاتِلُوْنَ فِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللهِ فَيَقْتُلُوْنَ وَ يُقْتَلُوْنَ وَعْدًا عَلَيْهِ حَقًّا فِي التَّوْرٰىةِ وَ الْاِنْجِيْلِ وَ الْقُرْاٰنِ وَ مَنْ اَوْفٰي بِعَهْدِهٖ مِنَ اللهِ فَاسْتَبْشِرُوْا بِبَيْعِكُمُ الَّذِيْ بَايَعْتُمْ بِهٖ وَ ذٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيْمُ.

"Surely, Allah has bought their lives and their wealth from the believers, in exchange of (a promise) that Paradise shall be theirs. They fight in the way of Allah, and kill and are killed, on which there is a true promise (as made) in the Torah and the Injil and the Qur’an. And who can be more faithful to his covenant than Allah? So, rejoice in the deal you have made, and that is the great achievement."-Surah Tawbah (09):111

Believers are not afraid of any threat. Rather, they say - 'Hasbunallahu wa ni'mal wakil.'

Allah ta'ala said in the holy Quran:

اَلَّذِيْنَ قَالَ لَهُمُ النَّاسُ اِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ جَمَعُوْا لَكُمْ فَاخْشَوْهُمْ فَزَادَهُمْ اِيْمَانًا وَّ قَالُوْا حَسْبُنَا اللهُ وَ نِعْمَ الْوَكِيْلُ.

'That is those to whom people said, “The people have gathered against you; so, fear them.” It increased them in Faith and they said, “Allah is fully sufficient for us, and the best One in whom to trust.'-Surah Aal-E-Imraan (03): 173

Only make efforts, success comes from Allah

وَ مَا رَمَيْتَ اِذْ رَمَيْتَ وَ لٰكِنَّ اللهَ رَمٰي.

"And you did not throw when you threw but Allah did throw."-Surah Anfaal (08): 17

Do not lose heart; you will be the upper-most!

وَ لَا تَهِنُوْا وَ لَا تَحْزَنُوْا وَ اَنْتُمُ الْاَعْلَوْنَ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُّؤْمِنِيْنَ.

"Do not lose heart and do not grieve, and you are the upper-most if you are believers." -Surah Aal-E-Imraan (03):139

وَ اِنَّ جُنْدَنَا لَهُمُ الْغٰلِبُوْنَ.

"And verily it is Our army (of chosen servants) that prevails."- Surah As Saaffaat (37): 173

O believer! Do not take the Jews and the Christians as intimate friends!

يٰۤاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا الْيَهُوْدَ وَ النَّصٰرٰۤي اَوْلِيَآءَ بَعْضُهُمْ اَوْلِيَآءُ بَعْضٍ وَ مَنْ يَّتَوَلَّهُمْ مِّنْكُمْ فَاِنَّهٗ مِنْهُمْ اِنَّ اللهَ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ.

"O you who believe, do not take the Jews and the Christians for intimate friends. They are friends to each other. Whoever takes them as intimate friends is one of them. Surely, Allah does not take the unjust people to the right path."- Surah Al Maaidah (5): 51

They will not accept you unless you accept their religion!

وَ لَنْ تَرْضٰي عَنْكَ الْيَهُوْدُ وَ لَا النَّصٰرٰي حَتّٰي تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَهُمْ قُلْ اِنَّ هُدَي اللهِ هُوَ الْهُدٰي وَ لَىِٕنِ اتَّبَعْتَ اَهْوَآءَهُمْ بَعْدَ الَّذِيْ جَآءَكَ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ مَا لَكَ مِنَ اللهِ مِنْ وَّلِيٍّ وَّ لَا نَصِيْرٍ.

"The Jews will never be pleased with you, nor will the Christians, unless you follow their faith. Say: “Guidance of Allah is, indeed, the guidance.” Were you to follow their desires despite the knowledge that has come to you, there shall be no friend for you against Allah, nor a helper." -Surah Al Baqarah (02):120

O Allah!  Free us from 'wahn'

 The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

"‏ يُوشِكُ الأُمَمُ أَنْ تَدَاعَى عَلَيْكُمْ كَمَا تَدَاعَى الأَكَلَةُ إِلَى قَصْعَتِهَا ‏"‏ ‏.‏

The people will soon summon one another to attack you as people when eating invite others to share their dish.

Someone asked:

وَمِنْ قِلّةٍ نَحْنُ يَوْمَئِذٍ؟

"Will that be because of our small numbers at that time?"

 He replied:

بَلْ أَنْتُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ كَثِيرٌ، وَلَكِنّكُمْ غُثَاءٌ كَغُثَاءِ السّيْلِ، وَلَيَنْزَعَنّ اللهُ مِنْ صُدُورِ عَدُوِّكُمُ الْمَهَابَةَ مِنْكُمْ، وَلَيَقْذِفَنّ اللهُ فِي قُلُوبِكُمُ الْوَهْنَ.

"No, you will be numerous at that time: but you will be scum and rubbish like that carried down by a torrent, and Allah will take fear of you from the breasts of your enemy and last enervation into your hearts."

 Someone asked:

يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَمَا الْوَهْنُ؟

"O The Messenger of Allah, What is wahn (enervation)?"

He replied:

حُبّ الدّنْيَا، وَكَرَاهِيَةُ الْمَوْتِ.

"Love of the world and dislike of death."-Sunan Abu Dawud, Hadith 4297

They fear you more than Allah

لَاَنْتُمْ اَشَدُّ رَهْبَةً فِيْ صُدُوْرِهِمْ مِّنَ اللهِ ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَّا يَفْقَهُوْنَ.

"In fact, your fear in their hearts is greater than (that of) Allah. That is because they are a people who do not understand."- Surah Al Hashr: 13

They are coward. They do not fight you except in fortified places, or from behind the walls!

لَا يُقَاتِلُوْنَكُمْ جَمِيْعًا اِلَّا فِيْ قُرًي مُّحَصَّنَةٍ اَوْ مِنْ وَّرَآءِ جُدُرٍ بَاْسُهُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ شَدِيْدٌ تَحْسَبُهُمْ جَمِيْعًا وَّ قُلُوْبُهُمْ شَتّٰي ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَّا يَعْقِلُوْنَ.

"They do not fight you, even assembled together, but in fortified towns, or from behind the walls. Their quarrelling between themselves is severe. You think that they are united, while their hearts are divided. That is because they are a people who have no sense."- Surah Al Hashr: 14

Allah will punish them at your hands and disgrace them

قَاتِلُوْهُمْ يُعَذِّبْهُمُ اللهُ بِاَيْدِيْكُمْ وَ يُخْزِهِمْ وَ يَنْصُرْكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَ يَشْفِ صُدُوْرَ قَوْمٍ مُّؤْمِنِيْنَ.

"Fight them, so that Allah should punish them at your hands and disgrace them, and help you win against them and bring relief to bosoms of the believing people."-Surah Tawbah (09): 14

Don't be upset by this procession of martyrs, the enemies will be wiped out

اِنْ يَّمْسَسْكُمْ قَرْحٌ فَقَدْ مَسَّ الْقَوْمَ قَرْحٌ مِّثْلُهٗ وَ تِلْكَ الْاَيَّامُ نُدَاوِلُهَا بَيْنَ النَّاسِ، وَ لِيَعْلَمَ اللهُ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَ يَتَّخِذَ مِنْكُمْ شُهَدَآءَ وَ اللهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ، وَ لِيُمَحِّصَ اللهُ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَ يَمْحَقَ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ.

"If you have received a wound, they have received a similar wound. Such days We rotate among the people, so that Allah may know those who believe and let some of you be martyrs - and Allah does not like the unjust

And so that Allah may purify those who believe and eradicate the disbelievers."-Surah Aal-E-Imraan (03):140-141

Do not look at your number

كَمْ مِّنْ فِئَةٍ قَلِيْلَةٍ غَلَبَتْ فِئَةً كَثِيْرَةًۢ بِاِذْنِ اللهِ  وَ اللهُ مَعَ الصّٰبِرِيْنَ  .

"How many small groups have overcome large groups by the will of Allah. Allah is with those who remain patient." - Surah Baqarah (02): 249

Their fortress cannot protect them

مَا ظَنَنْتُمْ اَنْ يَّخْرُجُوْا وَ ظَنُّوْۤا اَنَّهُمْ مَّانِعَتُهُمْ حُصُوْنُهُمْ مِّنَ اللهِ فَاَتٰىهُمُ اللهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَمْ يَحْتَسِبُوْا وَ قَذَفَ فِيْ قُلُوْبِهِمُ الرُّعْبَ.

"You did not expect that they would leave, and they deemed that their fortresses would protect them from Allah. But Allah came to them from where they did not expect, and cast fear in their hearts..."- Surah Hashr (59):2

Those who believe in Allah pray:

رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَاۤ اِنْ نَّسِيْنَاۤ اَوْ اَخْطَاْنَا رَبَّنَا وَ لَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَاۤ اِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهٗ عَلَي الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِنَا رَبَّنَا وَ لَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهٖ وَ اعْفُ عَنَّا وَ اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَ ارْحَمْنَا اَنْتَ مَوْلٰىنَا فَانْصُرْنَا عَلَي الْقَوْمِ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ.

“Our Lord, do not hold us accountable, if we forget or make a mistake, and, Our Lord, do not place on us such a burden as You have placed on those before us, and, Our Lord, do not make us bear a burden for which we have no strength. And pardon us, and grant us forgiveness, and have mercy on us. You are our Lord. So then help us against the disbelieving people.” -Surah Baqarah (02): 286

رَبَّنَاۤ اَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَّ ثَبِّتْ اَقْدَامَنَا وَ انْصُرْنَا عَلَي الْقَوْمِ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ.

 “Our Lord, pour out endurance on us, make firm our feet and help us against the disbelieving people.”-Surah Baqarah (02): 250

Believers’ expectation from Allah's mercy

سَيُهْزَمُ الْجَمْعُ وَ يُوَلُّوْنَ الدُّبُرَ.

"Soon this ‘large group’ shall be defeated, and all of them will turn their backs."- Surah Qamar (54): 45
