Man harbors numerous dreams, desires, and plans for future. To make his desires come true, he works hard tirelessly day and night. However, everything in the future still remains uncertain.
It is Allah who can guide you through this uncertainty. Everything will be arranged beautifully only if He wills it. Your future's smooth course depends solely on His wish. It is in Him that believers place their expectations.
Allah said to his prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam-
وَ لَا تَقُوْلَنَّ لِشَايْءٍ اِنِّيْ فَاعِلٌ ذٰلِكَ غَدًا، اِلَّاۤ اَنْ يَّشَآءَ اللهُ وَ اذْكُرْ رَّبَّكَ اِذَا نَسِيْتَ وَ قُلْ عَسٰۤي اَنْ يَّهْدِيَنِ رَبِّيْ لِاَقْرَبَ
مِنْ هٰذَا رَشَدًا.
And never say about anything, “I will do this tomorrow,”Unless (you say - ‘if) Allah wills.’ And remember your Lord if you forget, and say (to those who asked you about the story of the People of the Cave), “May be, my Lord will lead me to something closer than this to guidance.”
So, we should be accustomed to saying 'In sha Allah' while expressing our future plans. We should place trust only upon Allah in all of our future activities. May Allah grant us tawfiq. Amin.
