Selling the Skin of the Qurbani Animal Before It is Slaughtered
Many times, because of the insistence of skin buyers, people sell the skin of the Qurbani animal before it is slaughtered and sometimes they even take the price. This practice is forbidden.
The skin is not salable before it is skinned, so they should refrain from this activity.
If necessary, they can make a promise to sell. But they can not sell it before skinning. (Fatawa Alamgiri 3/128; Addurrul Mukhtar 5/63)
