Return of Islamic Government in Afghanistan
Agenda of Super Powers and Our Expectations
Allama Iqbal is one of my favorite poets, whose poetry is full of variety. In his various poems he has presented fictional accounts of the dialogue of the devils and their parliamentary discussions. The title of one of his poems is ‘Iblis kiMajliseShura’ (Parliament of Iblis). Thus another title is ‘Iblis kafarmanapnesiyasifarzandonkenaam’ (Iblis’s message - to his political allies and courtiers).
The instruction of Iblis to his courtiers regarding the Afghans came up in these two lines:
افغانیوں کی غیرت دیں کا ہے یہ علاج + ملا کو ان کے کوہ و دمن سے نکال دو
Iqbal wanted to say Iblis told his courtiers how to destroy the people and their faith, how to make people disbelievers. Iblis said about Afghans that they were naturally religious and their religious self-esteem was very strong. Iblis says that the cure for this religious self-esteem of Afghans is to eradicate from their hearts the love of the religion and respect of the religious persons.
Iqbal was a visionary philosopher. It seems that he understood at the beginning of the last century what would happen at the end of that century. Much of what Iqbal said about the Arabs, the Afghans, Asia, and Central Asia, happened later.
In Afghanistan over the past few decades, attempts have been made to implement the thoughts of the devil, which Allama Iqbal expressed in his poems. In the eighties and nineties of the last century and in the aftermath of the 9/11, the world leaders became desperate to implement the plans of the devil about Afghanistan. They imposed their western dirty culture on Afghans. They enslaved some Afghans with money and weapons, they gave them the support of the international community and patronage of the media so that they destroy their own people and eradicate religious ideology from Afghanistan. They spent billions and trillions of dollars to build a secular army and a secular nation... All of their works remind me of Iqbal's poem over and over again.
But since these were all satanic tricks and the Qur'an's clear instruction is
إنَّ كَيْدَ الشَّيْطٰنِ كَانَ ضَعِیْفًا
'All Satan's Techniques Are Weak'
So, decades later, this verse has come true again.
In just three decades, two empires have suffered their final defeat in Afghanistan. Their graves are in the hands of a people who are far from conventional education and so-called modern civilization.
Now those who are above the age of forty-five will remember that the two superpowers on earth in the last century were rivals. One. The Soviet Union and its allies. Two. The United States and its allies.
In the eighties and nineties of the last century, the Soviet Union swallowed not only the Islamic states of Central Asia and a few more but invaded Afghanistan as well and did all they could to spread the net of domination over them. But the independent Afghan nation did not accept it. They built resistance. Their various factions and groups went into armed struggle against the invading forces. Then another world power came forward through Pakistan in cooperation with the Afghans. Outwardly, it seemed that they had come to support the warlords in the face of their arch-enemy, the Soviet Union, but their intentions became clear later.
However, the Soviet Union was defeated and withdrew from Afghanistan. Not only that, they were buried in Afghanistan. Because, after being defeated in Afghanistan, one by one all the states under their control [including the Central Muslim states (Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan ...)] withdrew from the Soviet Union with the declaration of independence and in the end, the Soviet Union also collapsed. Today that is history. As a teacher, it is very difficult for me to make the students understand socialism and the Soviet Union in my economic class. But over the seventy years of the last century, what a power they had! Every day it seemed, the two superpowers were going to wage in a war! Their daily quarrels with each other were then called the Cold War.
After the Soviet Union's expulsion from Afghanistan, the Mujahedeen government was established in the country. But as the Mujahideen were divided into many sects and the conspiracies of foreign powers towards Afghanistan continued, their government did not get stability. As a result, the student movement began in Afghanistan in the last decade of the last century. The people of that movement later came to power in Afghanistan. Those are known worldwide as the Taliban.
Nine Eleven and then
The Soviet Union collapsed. The Taliban government was formed. In a very short time after coming to power, they achieved great success in various fields. In particular, they have been able to restore peace in war-torn Afghanistan. Most of Afghanistan was doing well. But in different cases, they have been a little hasty and a little too strict. On the other hand, the world-Kufr power has not yet got the patience to accept Sharia law anywhere in the world. They launched a relentless critique of the Taliban, calling them a threat to world peace. They launched new plots to plunder the independence and sovereignty of Afghanistan. They came to world politics with a new agenda.
As part of that agenda, the United States and its NATO allies attacked the Afghan people under the pretext of picking up Osama bin Laden over the mysterious events of the Nine Eleven. Not only NATO, but other countries (whose total number was probably 49) were brought in to suppress Taliban who was less than half a million (according to the estimate of western media) at that time. They established a region of terror throughout Afghanistan by bombing from the air. However, they say that their target is only the Taliban 'militants'. They would not attack civilian installations. But in reality there was no difference between military and civilian in terms of their targeting. People's homes, children, women, mosques, madrassas, schools, colleges and even hospitals have not been spared from their brutal attacks. In that horrific situation, the Taliban government withdrew from the power as a tactic to fight. They spread in remote areas of Afghanistan and continued to fight against the new occupier United States and its allies. Twenty years later, today the results of this struggle are before everyone. The victory flag of the Emirate of Islam is flying across Afghanistan again. The occupying forces and their servants have run away.
The American agenda to make the Afghan nation secular and its consequences
The United States and its NATO allies have been prolonging their aggression in Afghanistan for 20 years under the pretext of removing Osama bin Laden. At this time, this occupying power tried to implement the plan of Iblis about the Afghans, as stated in the poem of Allama Iqbal, They have tried to change everything the tradition-history-civilization-culture in Afghanistan. They have spent billions of dollars to get girls and women out of their homes, to bring them into sports and games....
In short, they spent billions of dollars to get them used to that dirty culture of the West. And they have spent about seventy billion dollars just to build a secular army and defense. According to many experts, the number published is much lower. In fact, it is a few trillions.
They have killed millions of Afghans. But at the same time, many of their soldiers have also died. The suicide of many of their soldiers has also been reported in the international media. The government has also come under heavy pressure from relatives of soldiers in the United States and its allies.
This means that they have also suffered a great loss. Even then, for two decades, they have continued to spend money and life. Why? To fulfill the Iblis’s dream of eradicating the religious class in Afghanistan and establishing a secular society and state there...! But in the face of the resistance of that self-respecting, independent, self-reliant nation, they were finally forced to accept defeat and leave Afghanistan.
What is understood from all this?
The relentless struggle of the Afghans for four decades and its results prove that:
1. No independent, self-confident and self-respecting nation is defeated
Yes, no independent, self-confident and self-respecting nation is ever defeated. However, if defeated, it is not permanent. One thing to keep in mind here is that although Taliban has won the battlefield, it is actually an achievement of the entire Afghan nation. Because, with few exceptions, all Afghans have participated in the war with them in various ways. That is why after the departure of foreign powers, their authority has been established in the whole country without any bloodshed. It established the fact that if a nation stands on the path of truth and justice, then their victory and success is inevitable. All they need to do is to be honest with themselves and be aware of the conspiracies of others. The Afghans have shown that by resisting the world power.
2. A nation cannot be destroyed by the greed of a few
It has been proved in Afghanistan that the billions of dollars spent over the last twenty years to change the traditional Islamic image of the Afghan people and the claim of success by so-called superpowers were not but a mirage. Where are their servants now? Why didn't even one hundred of them stand up against the Islamic Emirate (Taliban)?
In fact, no history or culture or civilization imposed or introduced by purchased slaves gains stability if the main party in the deal is determined to keep the original civilization alive. Today's Afghanistan is a shining example of this.
3. even if it is said a thousand times, the lie remains lie
A dictator said, 'Tell a lie ten times, then it will come true'. But lies remain lies although they are said hundreds of times. At some point the lies are vanished before the truth.
For the past two decades, the United States and its allies, and the media controlled by them have propagated that the thoughts, consciousness, religion and deeds of the Afghans have been westernized. The Taliban was making chaos in some places and it was slowly coming to an end. But what has been seen now? Where did their followers go? What was the reality of their propaganda? The fact was that they were able to capture only a few opportunist people in different cities. Some of them have migrated abroad, some have sunk under greed and some of them have changed their face to match with the time.
The rest of Afghanistan was normal. Because the majority of the people are still believers and devout. They are as inflexible as ever on the question of freedom and sovereignty. They have not accepted any aggressive occupiers - even the British - in the past and do not seem to accept them in the future. The lying media has concealed these truths thousands of times and spread their fabricated lies all over the world but what will they do now?
4. No regime imposed against the thoughts and aspirations of the masses is permanent
Another fact, which has been proved time and again, is that a regime imposed against the will and aspirations of the masses may last for a few days or a few years, in some cases a few more years, but it never lasts. And in all cases the consequences are horrible and exemplary.
When many dictators of the world forcibly seized power by using forces and submissive media, no one thought that one day they would fall fatally. But that has happened and they are thrown in the dustbin of history
5. It is the people's movement that brings success
As world media spread, Taliban in the decade long war recently finished was only 70,000. On the other hand, the number of Afghan army trained and equipped by super powers was more than 3 Lakhs.
One can say, this loyal army was opportunist. They surrendered to Taliban so that they will not face any problems if Taliban come to the power. And this has paved the way for the Taliban to win.
We can say, overlooking this reason, Taliban fighters took province after province under their control without any resistance from Afghan army so quickly and easily. If they don't have a strong relationships with general People, they would not have won so quickly and vastly.
One of the intelligent tactics of Taliban in decade long war against the world superpowers is that they did not create any distance between them and general people. They moved forward with their people during this long war.
On the other hand, TTP (Tehrike Taliban Pakistan) had created enmity with their own country and people when they waged in war against super powers. Religious scholars in Pakistan and other countries have got negative messages about this party.
Their regular attack on civilians and civil installations destroyed the image of Islam and Muslims all over the world, along with interrupting the peace and order of the country. But regarding Taliban, general people in Afghanistan have no negative sentiment.
Far from creating enmity with people, rather maintaining good relationship with general People Taliban won in the longest war in the history.
6. Criminals are always terrified
it was speculated a few months ago that the Taliban are returning to power in Afghanistan. After the confirmation of western troops leaving Afghanistan, It was a matter of time. And surprisingly it happened in a much shorter time than it was supposed to happen. Now the whole world is panicking about this. Signs of panic are evident in the language and behavior of the big powers and influential media. But why? Don't the Afghan people have the right to run the state as they wish? And Afghanistan is currently one of the poorest countries in the world. It is remaining within its borders. It is bordered by many countries. Those who are in power now have never infiltrated any country, including China, Iran and India. In fact, the reason for their panic is that the superpowers have been defeated and forced to retreat.
And in different Arab and Non-Arab countries, their servants who do not have support from general People are also terrified. But their reason is different. They have a new fear. And that is, they are thinking, if such a mass uprising comes to their country too...!
7. There is no power over the power of faith
What has been unequivocally proved in Afghanistan is that there is no power over the power of faith. Why are the two superpowers of the world humiliated, disgraced and devastated in Afghanistan? Why they are finally forced to leave Afghanistan? What have they become defeated before?
There is no question of comparing Afghans with super powers in terms of weapons, strength and propagation. Yet in the last few decades, especially in the recent two decades of the Nine-Eleven, on what strength did the Afghans survive? That is nothing else. That is the power of faith. Allama Iqbal saw their power with his own eyes. So he warned of a possible conspiracy by their enemies to seize this power. He also expressed the fear that they would try to destroy their power and wealth in the language of Iblis. The victory of Islamic Afghanistan is the victory of faith in the eternal battle between faith and disbelief.
This is nothing new. If we look at the early history of Islam, we can see that the victories of the Muslims against the many powerful forces were achieved by the power of faith.
The Afghan people and the Taliban have dealt with the invading occupying forces. The world-infidel power carried out an unjust aggression in a Muslim country under the Islamic government. In this case, in the eyes of Islam, it was a defensive jihad. When a Muslim town is attacked by the forces of Kufr, when AmirulMuminin calls for a war of resistance against them, it becomes necessary for every citizen of the country to join that war of resistance. The Afghans have done just that. With the exception of a handful of greedy and opportunist people, almost all Afghans have fought for decades to liberate their country from the hands of the occupying superpowers.
Victory is inevitable in the battle when it is fought with the power of faith. Sometimes it may be late to come. Today, the Afghans are celebrating the victory they deserved.
Expectations from Islamic Afghanistan
Before going into the basic discussion in this context, it would be good to clarify the names of those who are in power in Afghanistan today. The world media is still promoting them under the name of Taliban. We know that Taliban (Taliban) is a Persian and Pashto word, which means, students. Many of the Taliban who came to power in Afghanistan under the leadership of Mullah Omar were students or young scholars who had just graduated. Many of them have now reached old age. Their hair and beard have grown white. They also gave their organization a name. That is- Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. So now their name is no longer Taliban. They are no longer students. The name 'Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’ should be used for them.
Light of hope at the beginning
it cannot be denied that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan now is more mature than the Taliban regime led by Mullah Omar in 1996. Since the superpowers began to leave Afghanistan, the way they have been able to bring province after province under their control without hindrance, their enemies were also surprised at their patience and intelligence. They are praised by honest people all over the world when they reopened public administration departments, educational institutes while their constitutional government has not yet been formed. They are more praised when a general amnesty has been announced to prevent major bloodshed.
The influential media in the world controlled by the superpowers are wandering around for their faults, but the Islamic Emirate has not given them any opportunity so far.
After the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan took control of the capital Kabul, the opportunistic (not truth-seeking) media could not report any killings at the hands of the Taliban for two or three days. Then 2 or 3 people died in Kabul airport. The opportunistic media reported the killing of some people loyal to Ashraf Ghani at Kabul airport. Then when the real truth came to light, they were forced to say again that the men had died as a result of rushing to board the plane while fleeing without direction.
Some expectations
However, Allah knows best about the future. But there is no doubt that something great has been achieved. As we mentioned earlier, not only the United States, but through the NATO alliance, the whole Europe and some big powers have been defeated in Afghanistan. We think it will play a big role in balancing the future world powers. If the superpowers learned a little from this happening.
Now the whole Muslim world is looking at Afghanistan. The expectation is that under the supervision of honest, competent, pious and age-conscious Ulama-e-Keram, Taliban will run the state efficiently in accordance with Islamic Sharia. Considering the overall circumstances and the teachings of the Makki and Madanilife of the Prophet and the wisdom of Islam in da'wah and politics [الحكمة في الدعوة و السياسة] they will run their state- this is what all religious scholars of the Muslim world are expecting. Here are some of our expectations to them:
One. Walk slowly
We hope that, being strict and firm on Usul and Aqeedah (Islamic beliefs and fundamental principles), considering the current situation in the country and the world, they will adopt a policy of walk slowly in applying Sharia Law to the people. So that the Afghan people, who faced the foreign civilization over the past two decades, will be accustomed to Sharia law.
Two, Choose rukhsat for general people
The second expectation is that in cases where there are two options in the Shari'ah, azimat and rukhsat (Azimat, that is, the principle of sticking to the original rule of Sharia and Rukhsat is exemption from within the limits of the Shari'ah) they will choose the path of Rukhsat for the masses on the advice of the Ulama.
Third, Strengthen internal unity
Afghanistan is a multi-ethnic and multi-tribal country. Although Pashtun-speaking Pakhtuns (Pathans) are the majority, many more Muslims from other ethnic groups also live there. Naturally, their language and culture are also different. And in addition to that, the Afghan nation has been torn apart by decade long war. Therefore, the Islamic government must pay more attention to the unity of the Afghan people. So that no faction can be formed there by falling prey to someone's propaganda and no external forces can get any chance to harm the sovereignty of the state.
Four. Strengthen the defense
We also hope that they will make effort from now to build a strong defense force equipped with modern warfare equipment to sustain and strengthen the independence and sovereignty of the state and to deal with possible future threats. It is true that through Allah's unseen Nusrat,
They have completely defeated even the well-trained armies equipped with the most modern weapons, using their intelligence and tactics, using the most ordinary light weapons of the old technology. That was a response to the enemy with their existing capabilities in that situation after being attacked by the occupiers. But Islamic Emirate has to go far. To make Afghanistan safe and self-sufficient, they must also take timely initiatives in the military sector....
Five. Tactful foreign policy
The newly formed Afghan Islamic government must also be very tactful in its foreign policy. Awareness in choosing permanent and temporary enemies and allies, negotiation with international groups to protect national interests, selecting the right people to ensure the economic progress of the country by utilizing the abundant natural resources provided by Allah in Afghanistan ... we expect them to be skilled in these fields.
Six. Be aware of the conspiracy
There is no doubt that the defeated world powers and the media controlled by them will not only be busy finding fault with this government; rather, they will cunningly seize any opportunity to make this government ineffective. They will stick behind. Therefore, it is essential to be alert and aware of the conspiracy and to take effective preventive measures.
Seven. To build a strong media cell of international standard
Emirati Islamic Afghanistan has already shown and continues to show awareness and prudence on many issues. As a result of realizing the role of the media in conveying their message and their position to the world on any issue, we have seen some examples of their spokespersons in Qatar and elsewhere being prepared in that direction, which is certainly promising. As it seems, they have also taken good initiatives to make the local media active and strong. However, in order to be fully successful in this case, it is time to build a strong world-class media cell. By adopting a mega plan and multifaceted project of print and electronic media, their glorious presence on the information highway will help them a lot in the arena of international competition, InshaAllah. Hopefully, they will pay immediate attention to this.
Taliban and Human Rights
After the Taliban took control of the country, the peddlers of human rights have started blabbering once again. Many of them say, the Taliban should show respect for human rights. Some say, they will not be recognized unless they establish human rights. Some of the UN and some so-called human rights organizations are making a lot of noise. I don't know what is their motive behind this noise? Do they have any moral base to say something regarding this subject? For decades, when the superpowers have been looting the country's sovereignty, ruthlessly killing countless civilians, indiscriminately torturing and destroying villages and cities, when they have been ravaging the whole nation, trying desperately to change their faith and civilization... despite seeing everything, those who locked their mouths at that time, do they have any right to say something about 'human rights'?
The barbaric force that has killed thousands of innocent people in the name of suppressing the Taliban, from whose hands mosques-madrasas-hospitals and public places even the children of primary schools have not been spared, their representatives are talking about human rights! What can we do for such human rights and their advocates except to do but pity!
Last word
Afghanistan, the fraternal Muslim state has just been liberated. The control of the Muslims, who believe in Islamic sharia has been established there for a few days. They have recently formed a government there. Out of heartfelt love and compassion, like many other Muslims all over the world, we expressed our expectations for them.
Finally, we sincerely pray to Allah Almighty for the overall success of the Islamic Government of Afghanistan, so that they may be able to set an example in the 21st century by running the state properly based on Islamic law.
May Allah grant us tawfiq.
